The M/Y Galapagos Odyssey is a brand new luxury yacht, currently being finished in a shipyard in Guayaquil and due to have its maiden voyage in July 2008.

The Galapagos Odyssey cabins are spacious and full of amenities.

Each cabin has twin or matrimonial beds, a mini bar, inter-cabin telephone, 3 panoramic windows that can be opened, sofa, individually controlled air conditioning. All cabins have private bathrooms with hot and cold running water.

Cabins are 21 square meters (226 square feet) in extension, giving lots of room to relax. There is an area for luggage and there are pull out drawers under each bed.

  • 10 Cabins for passengers, all with lower berths. Four twin cabins are located on the upper deck, two twin cabins and two matrimonial cabins are located on the main deck. Two additional cabins are matrimonial/single cabins located on the lower deck and can be made available for tour leaders and/or single passengers. All cabins have private facilities, individually controlled air conditioning, a small desk and sofa. All the 8 main and upper deck cabins feature large windows which can be individually opened.

  • 4 passenger decks (sun deck, top deck, main deck, lower deck).
  • 12 knots cruise speed.
  • The highest deck is a sun deck with comfortable loungers and a jacuzzi.
  • The top deck offers a shaded area and a cocktail bar.
  • Besides a spacious lounge, dining area, bar and library on the main deck, there is a shaded outside space for al fresco dining.
Activities during cruise On your vacation aboard the Galapagos Odyssey we want to offer you activities that will allow you to perceive Galapagos from different perspectives: guided hikes, snorkeling, swimming, optional diving, wildlife observation and bird watching will give you the opportunity to experience the closest and most intimate encounters with the unique nature. Snorkeling This is a unique opportunity to experience the wonders of the Galapagos marine reserve like sea lions, sharks, turtles, penguins and marine iguanas flopping around the water. Scuba Diving Galapagos is one of the top diving spots in the world! With any immersion you may have the opportunity to see large pelagic fish, manta rays, stingrays, eagle rays, turtles, morays, hammerhead sharks and much more! Hiking Guided hikes will give you an amazing opportunity to get up close with nature. Moreover you will enjoy the truly spectacular landscapes of different geological formations. Wildlife Observation and Bird Watching The encounters with the unique and fearless animals at very short distances is absolutely one of the most fascinating aspects of your visit to the Galapagos Archipelago. Moreover the Galapagos Islands are a real bird watcher's dream: 29 of the 58 resident bird species are endemic, such as the Darwin Finches, the Flightless Cormorant, the Red footed Booby, among others.
